Pedagogical training, improvement of teachers and scientific activities were some of the most analyzed topics in preparatory seminar for the 2024-2025 school year in the Isle of Youth.
In the opening words, Nuris Peña, municipal director of Education, urged managers and teachers to achieve better results in the training of the new generations of pineros, so that in the future they are workers, and professionals who contribute to the country’s development.
Continuity of studies in higher education, interaction with families and ideological political work in the classrooms were also on the agenda of the teachers who participated in the seminar.
In the closing day, cadres, educational levels, teachers of recent categorization and other teachers were encouraged for their research contributions to the educational process.
Rachel Rivero Gil, director of the Magaly Montané Oropesa elementary school in the town of La Fe, received the Cuban Education Award.
At the closing ceremony, the main agreements were announced after two days of discussion in committees and strategies for achieving the objectives of the next school year.
