"Because children are those who know how to love, they are the hope of the world", motivated by the phrase of the National Hero of Cuba José Martí, was celebrated the International Children’s Day, in the Pediatrics Room of the Heroes Teaching General Hospital of the Baire de la Isla de Juventud.

Among ice cream, sweets, balloons, gifts, songs and a lot of love the activity dedicated to the little ones who are hospitalized in the main health facility pinera, and will not be able to enjoy the cultural activities scheduled in the special municipality for that day.
Yusmary Olivera Pupo, general secretary of the Central de Trabajadores de Cuba, CTC, in the Pines, in the name of the self-employed, of the El Marqués Unit, the Restaurante El Abra and other agencies gave a different day to children, despite their discomforts.

Mariano de la Caridad Valle Vargas, municipal director of the teaching general hospital Héroes del Baire and Bárbara Daudinot, municipal director of Public Health in Isla de la Juventud, on behalf of the workers of that entity thanked the solidarity gesture, which they rated as the best treatment of the day.
