The federated women of the island commemorated on Thursday the 64th anniversary of the Federation of Cuban Women, with a foot-groove act in the organoponic "Las Celias", where Marisdelvis Juliá Valdespino, General Secretary of the FMC in the territory, handed over the card of the organization to young women arriving at the age of 14.

Marisdelvis Juliá Valdespino, General Secretary of the FMC, spoke about working to strengthen the organization’s good functioning from community work so that women on the island feel in the organization a company, a scenario for improvement, support and unity.

Before the event, a volunteer work was held early in the morning at the organoponic "Las Celias" where the women demonstrated their support for food production.
